The Crossroads Center is the first agency within the OMHAS substance abuse treatment system in southwest Ohio that has obtained State of Ohio Child Care Licensure, which places The Crossroads Center in the leadership role of providing high quality child care and education services that are integrated with behavioral health services for chemically dependent parenting women.
The Family and Child Development Center
The Family and Child Development Center is a multi-disciplinary early intervention and education program that is integrated within the culturally proficient behavioral health care system of the Chaney Allen Women's Program at The Crossroads Center.
The Child Development Program
Provides onsite childcare and early intervention services to young children (age 0 - 5) of mothers enrolled in residential or outpatient treatment at the Chaney Allen Women's Services program and other community members. There are separate classrooms for infants, toddlers and preschoolers furnished with developmentally appropriate equipment and materials.
The Child Development Program is licensed by both the Ohio Health Department and the City of Cincinnati Health Department as a daycare center.
School Aged Children's Program
The Enrollment in this program includes school age children (6-12) that require supervision before and after school. Also, the program offers a 10-week summer day camp.
